How To Clear GOTV E48-32 Error Manually

If you have just experienced the GOTV E48-32 Error on your device, I want to assure you to be calm and stop panicking.

It is not the time to start calling their customer care line or start looking for an installer either. Understand that the decoder and cables connected to your device are machines and can sometimes malfunction. Sometimes it is as a result of human activities, at other times, it is not so as we claim.

When you experience the GOTV E48-32, the first thing you ought to do is to unplug your GOTV decoder, insert it in your neighbor's device and try to see if it will work with their antenna. If it does, you now have a cable or antenna problem.

At this stage, most people have started calling their service centers, but as I said before, it is not the time to panic.

The cable used to connect to your GOTV device in Nigeria or Kenya is cooper. Meaning, if it is manhandled roughly, it will break internally without you even knowing. In order not to fall prey to installers who would overblow the problem out of proportion and charge you a hefty sum.

What do you do?

Loosen the wire going into the RF IN and check if they are actually broken from the mouth. Run your hands around the coaxial cable and make sure no part is curled and in a position that seems uncomfortable. When you find the broken part, remove and remake the same connection to the RF IN.

Scan your Decoder afterward, and you will find the GOTV E48-32 error gone for good. Remember, this guide is for Nigerians and Kenyans using the DSTV and GOTV bouquet.

If this solution does not work for you, run your tongue on the cable from the RF IN and make sure you feel a slight pinch to indicate that the antenna is working. If not, it might be time to replace your antenna.
